Designed for AXE in tandem with the MojoMasters game, EvanAndGareth.com was the world’s first branded podcast and video blog, chronicling the adventures of two romantic crash-test dummies as they showed young men all the things not to do when trying to pick up women. At its height, Evan & Gareth’s video blog attracted millions of viewers, and drove many of them to try out their new dating skills in the MojoMasters game.
Designed for AXE in tandem with the Evan & Gareth video blog, MojoMasters was a console-quality, online multiplayer dating sim for young men. AXE product power boosts, and dating advice from Evan & Gareth helped players score with female avatars and out-playa their friends. Despite the abrasive conceits, the core game mechanics only rewarded players who would pay close attention to what the virtual women were looking for.
